9 months

I'm afraid very afraid. This lil guys is not mobile yet for one reason. To keep me sian. My baby who use to just coo at me while I play or change him is no where to be found. I instead have a little boy who wants to be on the go but can't quite catch on. You can see it in his eyes and in his flapping and flipping of his body, hear it in his grunts and groans. This one will not just sit and play. He will be in my cupboards and my toilets I can just feel it in my bones. So I am afraid very afraid for the day he starts to be mobile.





The things this lil man can do at 9 months......
He says mama.
He laughs ....a lot.
He will still beat you in a staring contest.
He sleeps through the night.
He rolls front and back and stands on his head and turns all around.
He still loves his brother ... I've never seen a love so sweet in my life.
He is learning sign language .
His favorite food right now is cinnamon raisin toast and cheese of course.
He still has no teeth but he eats real food like a champ.

8 months

Piercy.. I can't believe you are 8 months. You are growing into a little boy. You have started to eat big boy food. Your personality is starting to shine. No teeth yet. And you still aren't mobile. But I'll be honest with you I'm kind of glad that your not crawling , cause I do enough chasing between your brother and the dog.
I love that you giggle every time I kiss and squeeze you. that you are my little round one. I love the times its just me and you and we can sing and laugh together. You have stole my heart. I love you baby pierce.

my favorites for March 2012

I have a few favorite things in my life I'd like to remember.
-Daegen naming his wardrobe.. we have Pirate ship boots, Monster truck hat, cho cho hat, church boots, and ew no vest.
- Pierce getting the loves for Homie. He is starting to love his doggie.
- Our saturday Morning dance parties.. A.K.A. Robot dance party
-The way the boys look at us when Brock and I dance for them or with them.-
- How Daegen sings... His voice is the sweetest thing.
- The way pierce just giggles all the time.
- Daegen calls McDonalds"chicken nugget house"
- Just pierce in general, I love that little boy.... his cheeks are so kissable and he is so yummy.
- Pierces Serious look and then you say his name and it changes to a big smile with a laugh.
- The way Daegen says " I wub you mom".
- How Daegen takes checking "the map" so seriously.

I'm feeling so grateful for my little family. If I didn't have these boys in my life I wouldn't be able to experience the joy that they bring.  With out them I wouldn't be who I am. They make me a better person. Yes, its challenging to be a stay at home mom. Sometimes I for get that I'm also a wife and there is more to me than a mother. But I love being a mother especially Daegen and Pierces mama.

7 months

Our lil guy is 7 months. Can't believe how quick it goes. His personality keeps shining more and more. He is starting to love seeing his daddy when he gets home from work and his eyes just wondering every where he hears his voice. He is not crawling yet. I can't keep him on his stomach long enough, he always rolls over to his back. He doesn't have any teeth yet which is alright with me. He is starting to really like his baby food but still no peas for him. he loves watching his brother. He is such a chill baby. He loves his bouncy chair and his giraffe teething toy. We love this little boy he is such a sweet boy. I guess that's why I give in with him so much and I'm still getting up several times a night with him. He is just so tender hearted. Pierce we love you so much.

Sneaky progress

On Monday I had to take daegen to the doctors because he had an ear infection . So Brock came home early from work to watch pierce. When I came home my babies hair was cut. But brock promised me it wasn't his "first" hair cut. It was just so it could grow even. But I did go rescue a few hairs to save. .............
Pierce is now officially sitting up. We have been working on it and he has been getting close this last week. So I would now say he officially sits up. He is growing so fast and is still the most giggly happy baby. He just loves getting kissed and tickled. Next month we should have our crawling down.

6 months

This adorable 6 month has officially stole my heart. If I just look at him I get a huge grin and giggle. He is getting better at sleeping . He wakes up about once a night. He is very observant and turns his head at every sound he hears. He will stare into your eyes tell he figures you out . He is very strong and will scoot around on his tummy ( just in a circle) . He will grab everything in sight and stick it in his mouth. He loves his big boy food. We are into carrots and winter squash. He disliked the greens , we will try them again soon. We went to the docs and he has grown like a weed.

2 gallons of disaster.

I had to document my disaster at the grocery store today.  After the gym I thought I could quickly go get 2 gallons of milk at the store. So we get there and all was well. Then I had to fight daegen on not getting the car carts. Those carts at this particular store are always trashed and soaking wet ...ect.  So we got a normal cart and of course daegen wont get in it, and throws his boots in the cart and insists on walking. So I throw him in the cart which resulted in us getting a lot of attention because, I not only have a 3 year old screaming about a blue car cart but it upsets Pierce so I have a crying baby too. I get my stuff that I need with only a few challenges. Then I go check out. I put every thing on the conveyer belt to then realize my wallet is in the car!!!!! I told the cashier guy and he said ok i'll be here go get it. So I told Daegen k we need to go to our car really fast. But.... He spots the play area. he lost it. he wouldn't move unless it was into the play area. I asked the babysitter lady if I could drop him off so I could run and get my wallet really fast. She said do you have your ID. (well of course not) So I scoop up daegen in a foot ball hold and pierce is on my other arm and I charge to the door with again 2 screaming children. I find the nearest cart throw daegen in it and get to my car like nobody s business. I came back waited another 5 min in line to pay for my groceries and vowed Id never just "run" in to get milk.



But then you come across pictures like this and realize how precious they are.  Even if they make getting 2 gallons of milk challenging. They are worth every challenge.

We had a fun thanksgiving and a delicious feast. We missed beth and her family though. I planed on taking a lot of pics but that didn't happen of course:( we also went downtown on black friday to see Santa. Daegen wouldn't even sit on his lap this year. Were really excited around here

Brock had to get a Christmas tree for church , so he brought it back home for the week. Daegen loves this tree. He always keeps the lights on. We will turn them off when he falls asleep , I'll walk by his room in the morning and by then he will had turned them on. He is the only person Brock and I know of who will hug there Christmas tree because there so excited.,

We have a new dog at our house

Daegen the dog. I caught him drinking out of the dog bowl , so I told him if he wanted his own bowl of water I could get him his own. It back fired and he really enjoyed role playing being a dog. We had a dog house , dog food (cereal) doggie naps and doggie bones/cookies. So this has been going on for about 2 weeks now I'm done having 2 dogs.

Blend tec bread

I tried to make bread dough with my blend tec. Brock said the best thing about the bread is that he could see the hand prints that made it:( I guess I'll have to use the kitchen aid.

Happy 4 month birthday

Wow my sweet chuba chub. You bring a smile to my face. I don't know how you do it but every month you get more smiley and giggly. Every time I come into the room you smile and start moving your arms and legs with excitement. How I love you my little scoby do. When ever I need a laugh all I have to do is give you a little squeeze like a tickle me Elmo, and you laugh hysterically. Heres to 4 months my little man.
